Favourite Videos
Recently I've started making videos from the photos I take. Here's some of the best ones...

Favourite Photos
I love great photos, and been fortunate to be able to snap a few. Here's some of my personal favourites.

1987 Mornington Triathlon

A skinny 18 year old kid surprises the field - ahd himself!!

2008 Huskisson Triathlon

A 38 year old guy has one the best race days of his life to achieve a lifetime goal...and he's happy about it!!

Carrying Queens Baton in 2006

A great honour and privilege...and a huge buzz.

Triathlon world ch'ships finish.

Hardest thing I've EVER done...almost there...collapsed a few steps later...woke up in medical tent...vomiting...feeling worse than death...IV drip in arm. What an experience!!

Campbell's girls.

Does it get any better than this - girls with MY name on them?

Tulum beach combi.

Our hostel provided a compimentary combi van trip to the beach, minus door, mudguard, shattered windscreen...

Kids at Chicicastenango

This photo was actually of the butcher shop, but looking it now the kids in the foreground are wonderful

Volcano San Pedro and Volcano Atitlan.

One of the most beautiful places I've ever been to, with San Pedo town in foreground.

Top of Volcano San Pedro.

Yes, the view was as good as that - (one of) the most breathtaking views I've ever seen.

Dawn over Lanquin valley.

In the Guatemalan mountains, a picture like this tells a thousand words.

Temple I at Tikal.

Big and crumbling a bit, but really awesome - Mayan ruins all around.

Pink flamingos in Mexico.

At a place called Celestun, the pink flamingos are a highlight on an otherwise shallow, muddy river.

Santa Monica beach.

Very touristy, tacky...but a nice sunset.

Wilsons Prom lighthouse

A long walk (and run) to get to, but perched on a spectacular rocky knoll.

South Point - the bottom of Australia

Also hard to get to, but the significance is all worth it.

Sunset off Kona coast

If you miss it tonight...it will be just as good tomorrow night!!

Lava meeting the ocean

Clouds of steam where the Pu'u O lava flow meets the ocean. Spectacular sight.

Lava coastline

50m high cliffs of lava, black sand beach, palms and steam in the distance. Amazing sight.

Lava flows

The lava has just flowed over the edge of these cliffs towards the ocean, with different textures / colours and showing the earth it missed (at right).

Finish in Kona 2005

This picture tells a thousand words.

Hawaii IM 2005

With my wonderful support crew - Anna, Mum & Dad.

Waikiki Beach from Diamond Head

A stunning view with steep mountains just out of sight to the right.

Hawaii finish line 2006

This is it...the finish!! Lights, music, people, volunteers and a big relief.

Waimea Canyon, Kauai

The Grand Canyon of the Pacific. It is spectacular - green, deep, wide, with clouds blowing through it. Really spectacular.
