Currie Harbour
A small harbour that's difficult to navigate a boat into, especially in rough weather. |

Quite an imposing lighthouse and impressive in it's location and stature over the harbour. |

Currie is the main town on King Island, although the supply ships come into Grassy port on the other side. |

Crayfish boats
A lot of cray fishing here, and other fishing boats, operate from this harbour. |

Kelp farmers
The kelp is picked up from the beach, dried out, ground down and shipped to Scotland to make food products from. |

Beyond use, these have been collected and lined up here. |

British Admiral Beach
Named after the ship that sank here, this was the location for two little events. |

Run over 2.7km, out and back, we had to predict our time and run without a watch. Closest to predicted time won. |
